Effective Strategies to Burn Fat Not Muscle
July 15th 2011 -
Quite a lot of information is known on the processes the body goes through when burning fat, not muscle. We tend to feel that much of the problems people have with it are in the execution. What this simply means is the amount of motivation a person has might wane after some time, even after a very strong start. The causes for this happening are another important point. Whilst everyone is very different and we can’t guess all causes we can mention one possible cause. It is possible that many people simply choose the approach that is not optimal for them. And once their efforts don’t yield results they don’t bother to find an alternative method to try. Finding whatever suits you and works best is the most important thing to ensure your success.
There are two large components when it comes to preserving muscle and burning fat. Firstly you have to approach your diet in a way that’s serious. Then your actual routine for working out must be spot on for a number of reasons. But with your diet you’ll need to change a few things when it comes to carbohydrates, like getting rid of foods that are very high in carbs. However it’s important to not rid your diet of them completely. You’re able to take advantage of specific types of carbohydrates that are often found in fruits and vegetables. Once they’ve been consumed, your body will use them for energy instead of fat storage, so you won’t gain fat.
There are a lot of reasons for drinking plenty of water during the day. Don’t overdo it with the water consumption, but you should aim for around eight pints of water per day. You’ll feel more full up as a result of this, so it can help aid fat loss. So what we’re trying to do here is avoid drinking or eating any snacks that could contribute to your fat intake. Also if you stay hydrated you’ll be able to keep up your energy levels. Try consuming drinks containing lots of water instead of caffeine and then keep an eye on how much energy you have. Your productivity in exercise will be better if you’ve got more energy.
Here’s a piece of wisdom that’s rather old and has been around for a very long time. But quite surprisingly it’s something that not many people know about, and it’ll truly change the eating habits you have. Ensure you eat at a slow pace and chew all of your food thoroughly. There’s a time lag of roughly twenty minutes between when you are full up and your brain is told that it is.
Therefore by eating quickly you will throw everything out of balance and you’ll end up eating for more time than is needed. Thoroughly chewing your food will enable you to avoid indigestion. Plus, your saliva contains enzymes, which will have more time to start the process of digestion, before the food reaches the stomach.
When you want to burn fat, not muscle, then explore all the various methods and little tricks you can use to great effect. The entire process is rather flexible due to the various methods available to you, and they work well.
